chalkboard fun: wonderland!

alright, let's be honest and say that every sunday is a little ambitious when your mind works like mine. it would have worked out beautifully if i didn't over think what each new drawing would be. random subjects are a necessary exercise and one that i will most certainly continue, but i may have gotten a little side tracked as ideas snowballed into a project larger than i could have anticipated this wall would bring.

i like a certain aesthetic; i'm very fond of baroque frames and surfaces rich with history. i love tromp l'oeil in moderation and interesting typography. i'm pretty sure that the art nuveau period is my favorite, and i'm interested in work that provokes thought and the question "how?". i've decided to use this wall to illustrate "alice's adventures in wonderland" and "through the looking glass" using these aesthetics. i think it's going to be very interesting.
